This video shows our recommended disinfection protocol for the Provizage visor. Please watch the video carefully to the end to understand the protocol. We recommend that you disinfect the visor between each client to prevent cross infection. It is important to disinfect any surface you intend to rest the visor upon before you start decontaminating the visor. You should disinfect the visor with gloves on and use a fresh viricidal wipe. It is important to work systematically and slowly to ensure you wipe the whole surface of the visor, starting at the collar, moving over the halo and up the screen. You should wipe the ear pieces of the visor, the cord and the adjustable slider. Then move to the outside of the visor and wipe the whole of the collar and the screen. If you are not sure whether you have covered the whole of the visor surface begin the process again. Working systematically and slowly ensures that you cover all the surfaces of the visor, so you can be sure it is disinfected. This is an important procedure and should not be rushed.
For optimum screen clarity polish the screen with a clean lint free cloth to remove any streak marks caused by antibacterial / viricidal wipes. We do not recommend using tissues, couch roll or other abrasive materials for wiping and polishing the screen as these may cause minor scratches impairing optical clarity.
