The filtration system gives you confidence that it’s doing a better job than an FFP3 mask. A pre-filter traps any large particulates extending the life of the HEPA filter below it. Importantly, when you exhale the carbon dioxide, that leads to headaches with FFP2/3 masks, is vented efficiently. An audible alarm tells you when the air flow rate becomes compromised, so you know it’s time to replace the filter unit. This will keep you breathing COVID-free air during your AGPs.
The whole unit is also disinfected easily between uses.
